I am researching WILLIAM J. CREEVY whose New Orleans tombstone reads:-

"Native of Belfast Ireland, died 10 Sep 1894 age 53 yrs".

His first wife was SUSAN E. EARL who died 1 Mar 1877 aged 45 years. According to her death certificate she was a native of County Galway.

Parents names are not known for either and there is no record of their marriage in Louisiana.

Both are believed to have been Protestants.
